2010 Tournament Results & News
The Mocs Bass Anglers sent Taylor Massingill & Alex Craw to represent their team in the 2010 College Bass National Championship Tournament taking place on July 8-10 in North Little Rock, Arkansas fishing the Arkansas River.  This was a two day event with the top 5 teams fishing a third day.  On Day 1, Massingill & Craw brought three keepers to the scale for 4.75 lbs putting them in 21st place.  After the weigh-in, tournament officials informed anglers that they would be fishing Lake Maumelle on Day 2 due to rising water and fast current in the Arkansas River.  Lake Maumelle lived up to its nickname of the "Dead Sea" for the UTC anglers as they weighed in one keeper that went 1.12 pounds.  Massingill & Craw finished with 5.87 lbs placing 26th out of 44 schools.  For the last three National Championship tournaments, the UTC Mocs Bass Anglers have finished higher than any other Tennessee school/college participating in the event and this event was no different.
